found that many insurance professionals have taken steps to look for alternative employment over the last 12 months, according to their exclusive research.

Given these circumstances, employers in the industry need to consider if they’re offering an EVP, or employee value proposition, that aligns with their current and prospective employees. Having an EVP based off assumption is as good as not having one at all. To know what motivates employees to stay or leave, employers need to dig deeper to gain a real understanding.

We spoke to ANZIIF’s General Manager of Learning, Rebecca Slingo, whose team studied the current expectations and motivations of insurance professionals in 2022.
