We are seven steps closer to reaching our vision; to be the talent partner of choice and a place people love to work.

After seeing continued and unprecedented growth, we have had the pleasure of promoting six of our people across each of our branches.

Congratulations to Samantha Standfast , Andrew Chalkley , Jeremy Musso , and Bernadette Bethune who were promoted to Team Leaders in their sectors. Their demonstrated ability to lead, support, and train their teams and new starters proved they were beyond deserving of being promoted.

We also want to congratulate Senada Mednolucanin , Sarah Frank , and Daniel Bercolli on being promoted to Recruitment Consultants.

Each promotee demonstrated their commitment and drive to deliver unmatched levels of service to their clients and candidates.

Supporting our growth strategy

The promotions come after the announcement of our Emerging Leaders Group. The group was established to enhance the leadership capability and skills of our employees who were selected to participate. An initiative we implemented as a result of our employee engagement survey of which we scored 89%. This is 11% higher than the Consulting & Staffing Australia Top 25% 2021 and a result we are extremely proud of.

This strategy will ensure we have strong leadership support across our business and will foster the development of each of our growing teams.

Since March 2021, we have employed 25 new people which puts our total employee count at 68. We are thrilled to surpass our target of 48 employees by January this year.

Promoting internally will also foster open and honest communication between our newly promoted leaders and their teams,” says CEO Tyson McNeilly. “Having the right level of leadership support across the business is critical for the long-term success of our people and our business.”

Becoming the talent partner of choice and a place people love to work

With year-on-year permanent revenue growth of 127%, we are tracking well ahead of targets. We’re currently working on 425 live roles across the business with the majority of which are retained.

Since March 2021, we have seen year-on-year revenue growth of 66% and we’re projecting more growth as we build our teams.

Becoming the talent partner of choice entails building a team of specialists who understand our clients, our candidates, their needs, and their industries. Many factors play a part of this but here are two:

  1. Investing in our employees’ professional development
  2. Attracting the right people into our teams

Investing in professional development

Investing in our team’s professional development has increased employee engagement and given us the ability to promote internally. We’ve seen many of our junior employees grow from role to role and gain more confidence along the way. Development techniques we’ve adopted include:

  • Conducting one-on-one monthly development meetings
  • Providing free access to training programs
  • Implementing peer-to-peer training and inductions
  • Having collaborative working environments
  • Encouraging and signing up employees to networking events
  • Inviting industry experts to conduct in-house training sessions

Attracting the right people

By ‘right people’ we mean people who share our values and hold them close. We want our people to be intrinsically motivated and enjoy the work they do.

  • Account Managers in Brisbane
  • Recruitment Consultants and Senior Recruitment Consultants in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne who specialise in infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing, wealth management and/or insurance
